After cementing their status as the leader of fourth-generation K-pop, it has been confirmed that TXT will be taking a well-deserved break. However, the news was followed by sentiments from some K-pop fans, who called for the same break for ENHYPEN.

On December 10, BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement announcing the temporary suspension of TXT’s activities. According to the agency, the members of TXT will take a long-term break after concluding their participation in the upcoming 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 5.

“During this time, members plan to spend quality time with their families and take time to rest, preparing to return to MOA with an amazing 2025 ahead of them,” BIGHIT shared.

The agency then asked fans to give their support and understanding to the members during their recovery. He also assured that TXT will reunite again after spending time away from scheduled activities and will show their gratitude more to fans once they return.

MOA breathes a sigh of relief knowing that all five members of TXT will be recharged after all the hard work they have put in.

Meanwhile, the news of TXT’s long-term hiatus also sparked reactions from ENGENEs, who called for the same time off for ENHYPEN.

The demands were also rooted in the boy group’s exhaustion, most likely caused by their constant comebacks, promotions and touring.
