ON November 19th, GREAT MUSIC announced that Soobin would be taking a break from all activities to prioritize his health and recovery. The decision came after careful consideration to ensure the well-being of the idol.
“Soobin recently showed signs of feeling unwell and went to the hospital for medical treatment. The medical staff advised that he would need sufficient time to rest and recover,” the statement read.
“We have prioritized Soobin’s recovery and discussed future activities with all members,” he added. “Soobin himself is determined to continue with his activities, however, we felt it would be best for him to focus on improving his health for the time being, as recommended by the medical staff.”
Later that day, Soobin contacted me MOA (TXT fandom) through a touching letter shared on Weverse. In his message he reassured fans not to worry, explaining it his break was necessary to return healthier and stronger. He expressed gratitude for their unwavering support, highlighting how their love motivates him in difficult times.
“After thinking deeply about it, I thought that in order to be with all of you for a long time, I needed time to regroup,“, wrote Soobin. “My heart is heavy because I fear that this decision will hurt everyone around me, but I talked to Yeonjun a lot, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Kai. I am very sorry and grateful to the members who supported my decision.”
“MOA’s happiness is always my top priority”, he added.
Soobin also shared his regret for stepping away temporarily, but promised to return soon with a brighter and healthier energy. Fans responded with an outpouring of encouragement, wishing him a speedy recovery. Get well soon, Soobin!
