In the video, Gangnam said that he runs a bar, which caused Jeongyeon to respond with surprise, revealing: “I worked part-time in a bar,” which shocked Gangnam.
Gangnam was impressed and said: “You’ve really lived a hectic life. You worked part-time, went to school, auditioned, and now you’re performing in stadiums? You should write a book.”
When asked if she still remembers making drinks at the bar, Jeongyeon confessed: “This is the first time I’ve said this, but when I took a break from my activities due to my panic disorder, I worked part-time at a friend’s bar.” Gangnam responded, “So you didn’t just stand still, you kept moving.”
Jeongyeon added, “I started working at 6 in the morning and finished at 4 in the afternoon.” Gangnam joked, “Wow, you worked hard. That must have been tough on your friend. How much did they have to pay you? I bet your friend almost went bankrupt.”
Jeongyeon clarified, “Fortunately, the owner was very understanding,” to which Gangnam responded with humor, “At that time I was supposed to be running a bar.”
Meanwhile, Jeongyeon took a break in 2020 due to an anxiety disorder. She resumed activities in June 2021, but had to stop again just two months later, causing concern among fans. She resumed activities in February 2022 and currently hosts the web variety show ‘The Appraisers’.
