TWICE Tzuyu asks IU to be his girlfriend, ONCE amused by Idol’s confession: “She’s down in the dumps”

Tzuyu is going viral for her unexpected and adorable confession to IU!

On December 16, “IU’s Palette” released its 30th episode, titled “Merry TWICEmas to U ahead (With TWICE)”. The holiday special featured the “Strategy” singers, who had the chance to talk and perform with the adorable IU.

There were many highlights in the video, given the presence of third generation K-pop’s “Nation’s Little Sister” and “Nation’s Girl Group”. However, TWICE’s youngest member Tzuyu sparked reactions to her surprising request for the “Love wins all” singer.

During the episode, TWICE asked IU if there were any upcoming artists she supports or likes. IU responded that her preference was JYP Entertainment artists, citing that she has loved TWICE since their debut, along with Wonder Girls, ITZY and “Adult Ceremony” singer Park Ji-Yoon.

“I’m not just saying, ‘TWICE is so cute, I support them,’ I genuinely love TWICE,” IU said, much to the joyous reaction of TWICE members.

The group also showed their affection: “We love IU too.”

But amid compliments from the group, Tzuyu confidently slipped in a courageous confession for IU by saying, “Please be my girlfriend.” The comment shocked the members, who confirmed the observation to an initially confused and fond IU.

IU then reacted to Tzuyu’s confession: “Oh my God, this is what makes my heart flutter.”
