TVXQThe 20th anniversary of their debut in Japan is coming soon. To celebrate and thank fans, TVXQ will host a tour, 20th Anniversary LIVE TOUR ~ZONE~ in Japan. They will travel through different cities in Japan from November 29 to December 15, 2024.
JYJ‘S JX unit, composed of Jaejoong AND Kim Junsuwill also host a two-day concert in Tokyo.
They will perform at Bellaluna Dome on December 14 and 15, 2024. The dates coincide with the last two days of TVXQ, who will perform in Hiroshima. What angered fans the most was JX’s concert setlist. They would cover many of the hit songs from their time in TVXQ, including “Balloon”, “Rising Sun” and “Hug”.
For those unfamiliar with the lore, the members of JYJ sued SM Entertainment, ultimately leaving the group. This caused a rift between fans and members.
- Ugh.
- If you withdraw from the group, you should also give up the songs. They have no conscience.
- It’s so charming that some people don’t find it strange how they called it “Identity”, but they made the set list with old TVXQ songs LOL. It seems like JX fans are Cassie from the old days too.
- What I don’t understand is that this is basically what soloists who don’t leave the group would do. Being an old-time Cassie, it’s so pathetic. Or just release a new album as a duo or something… Why do you have to sing old TVXQ songs as a duo?
- The lineup is crazy LOL. If you’re not from TVXQ anymore, why are you singing it?
- When this was trending earlier, I didn’t pick it up then either. Why are they also becoming nostalgic?
- Have nothing to show for it career-wise after leaving? The time spent outside TVXQ is longer than the time spent as members. I don’t understand why they don’t have any songs to use except the old, nostalgic ones… This comment hits the nail on the head. It’s not as if a retired member is recording a song or two as part of a fanmeeting, but is performing a dozen or so songs in his setlist. This is so annoying.
- Even the fans who insist that they are the real TVXQ and that their songs were stolen by fakes are so pathetic. They even claim that non-fans are the ones saying it. The singers who are forever stuck in the past of 15 years ago, and the fans who follow them should stay together until death do them part.
