As August comes to an end, many K-pop idols have hit the headlines with their social media updates, music releases, activities, achievements, and more.
To gauge the popularity of K-pop idols this August, the Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled its new brand reputation ranking. The organization collected data from July 22 to August 22.
The results were then determined by analyzing factors such as consumer participation, media coverage of the idols, and their overall engagement with fans.
Here are the 30 most popular K-pop idols in August 2024!
1. Aespa Karina

Karina received a brand reputation index of 3,371,337 for August, earning her the top spot. The idol has also been trending for being the new brand ambassador for Prada, as well as releasing content, social media updates, and taking part in activities with aespa.
2. IVE Jang Wonyoung

Jang Wonyoung managed to follow in second place, where she achieved a brand reputation index of 3,442,962. Wonyoung has managed to get noticed on social media with her updates and programs with IVE.
3. Cha Eun Woo Astrology

Cha Eun Woo managed to secure the Top 3 by obtaining a brand reputation index of 3,251,136.
4. Girls Generation Taeyeon

Taeyeon came in at No. 4 after seeing a brand reputation index of 3.0-87,642. The SNSD leader also trended for her collaboration with Sam Smith on the song “I’m Not The Only One” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album “In The Lonely Hour.”
5. BTS Jin

With a brand reputation index of 2,977,916, Jin placed in the top five.
