Tom Holland returns to “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” set after brain emotion, release program not influenced

On September 22 (local time), several US stores including the Hollywood and Hollywood Reporter (Thr) deadline confirmed that Sony and Marvel Studios temporarily interrupted production for about a week after the Dutch accident, choosing not to proceed without him. The studies stressed that the accident would not affect the film’s release program.

The accident occurred on September 19th at the Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom, where Holland fell during a sequence of stunts and underwent a minor brain emotion. It was immediately transported to a hospital for evaluation, but was not admitted for prolonged treatment. Reports also observed that an acrobatics artist of the same set was taken away in an ambulance.

The producers explained that the short break was simply a precaution and reassured the fans that Holland would return to the shooting in a few days. No additional accidents have been reported.

The day after the accident, on September 20, Holland appeared in an event for The Brothers Trust, the charity he manages with his brothers, accompanied by his girlfriend Zendaya. However, because of his condition, he left the event in advance.

Before the accident, Holland expressed excitement for the new film, saying, “I am excited to shoot in real places. Unlike the latest film, which was shot mainly on stages during the pandemic, this time we will use entire roads in Glasgow for large -scale action scenes.”
