“Tokyo Ghoul” is an anime television series based on the manga by Sui Ishida, serialized in “Weekly Young Jump” and has sold over 47 million copies worldwide. Set in a world where creatures called “ghoul” exist that eat humans, the story follows Ken Kaneki, a protagonist who becomes a half-ghoul in an accident and becomes involved in the battle between humans and ghouls.
The anime was adapted into a TV series from July to September 2014, followed by “Tokyo Ghoul √A” from January to March 2015, and “Tokyo Ghoul:Re” as a new series in 2018. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime series, a 10th anniversary project was launched in March 2024, and “Tokyo Ghoul EX” is part of this project.
“Tokyo Ghoul EX” is an immersive exhibition that allows visitors to experience the wonderful and tragic world of the hit television anime series “Tokyo Ghoul” through a variety of exhibits, interactive experiences, and immersive visuals.

Additionally, visitors can explore the “Kaneki’s Mask Production Process” exhibit, which showcases the 3D data used to create the intricate masks seen in the series.
A newly released artwork by the original author, Ishida Sui, has been revealed exclusively for this event. As a special gift, all attendees at the Tokyo location will receive a colored mini sheet featuring “Ken Kaneki wearing the Anteiku uniform,” while those attending the Osaka location will receive one featuring “Ken Kaneki with white hair after the battle with Yamori.” Don’t miss out on these exclusive gifts, available only at each location.
