Originally known as SM Entertainment artists, THESE 2 solo powerhouses sent the K-pop community into a frenzy after announcing their joint concert.
On September 6, legendary K-pop idols Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu (XIA) revealed that they will be reuniting as a duo for their 20th debut anniversary!
On this day, the two icons launched their official social media accounts under the name JX, which is the fusion of the initials of their stage names, Jaejoong and XIA.

In a teaser video and silhouette poster uploaded to their social media, the duo revealed more details about their upcoming joint concert, “JX 2024 CONCERT – IDENTITY – in Seoul.” The event will be held over three days, from November 8 to 10, at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
The concert’s slogan also attracted attention: “Despite the various changes, our true identity remains firm.” This gave a glimpse of the adversities they had faced for two decades.
Jaejoong and Junsu debuted as members of legendary K-pop group TVXQ in 2004. But after a lawsuit against SM Entertainment in 2010, they left the team and restarted as JYJ alongside Yoochun under C-JeS.

Although they had already launched their career as a trio, especially in Japan and Korea, Yoochun sadly retired from the K-pop scene in 2019 due to his drug-related controversies.
Since then, Jaejoong and Junsu have continued to promote as a duo. In 2021, Xia also left their label to launch her own agency, Palmtree Island.
In 2023, Jaejoong also left C-JeS to start his own label, iNKODE Entertainment.
Although they both decided to focus on their solo careers after parting ways as JYJ, their friendship has remained strong and special. Through JX’s performance, they will confirm the musical influence they have accumulated over the years that cannot be seen anywhere else.
