Seunghan’s abrupt departure from RIIZE shocked the BRIIZE community and other K-pop fandoms. Amid the growing outrage, fans have started to air their theories and speculations regarding the idol’s exit from the group.
Earlier on October 11, SM’s management label Wizard Production shared that Seunghan would finally return to the group after a long hiatus. This was followed by Seunghan’s handwritten letter, addressing his past controversies and sharing his determination to better himself.
However, the idol’s return led to divided reactions, with many fans expressing their enthusiasm, while OT6 BRIIZE protested the decision.
On October 13, Wizard Production released a statement announcing Seunghan’s departure from RIIZE. The announcement immediately angered the K-pop community. The fandoms expressed their disdain and started boycotting SM, given how it dealt with Seunghan’s situation.
Amid the ongoing heat, many theories have erupted on social media regarding his exit. Some questioned whether Seunghan was created by someone within the industry, pointing out that he, along with former ILLIT member Youngseo and former LE SSERAFIM member Garam were apprentices to Source Music.
They also theorized that Min Hee Jin was involved in Seunghan’s departure.
I wouldn’t be shocked if MHJ had something to do with this…
She was initially in charge of creating a new headquarters for Source Music, but later negotiated for her own label. Now a member of each of the groups believed to be rivaling or copying NewJeans has left their respective groups https://t.co/mvApKrIFYi pic.twitter.com/t4srg8FgC3
another case that will go nowhere because you resort to conspiracies instead of seeing it as it is and never do anything serious. https://t.co/AOIATS0MeC
I don’t know, mhj is not a good person, but the way y’all try to drag her into everything that happens in kpop/korea is getting ridiculous. these idols are real people who have been through terrible times. they deserve to be treated with sincerity, not inserted into some crack conspiracy https://t.co/OVctEYVtAU
