Mnet‘S Road To Kingdom: Ace of Ace finally there was the final, and here’s everything that happened.
In September seven groups began their journey Road to the Kingdom: Ace of Ace. Throughout the episodes, the idols showcased their talents together and individually, focusing on the solo performances of each group’s “Ace”.
November 7th saw the final teams battle it out to be crowned the winners. On the show, all groups performed new songs, showcasing their strengths as a team and talents as idols. There was a lot of diversity in genre, style and concept between the groups, demonstrating how talented and unique all the groups are.
UNIT they started the show with their amazing performance of the song “Beliefs” and it was elegant and powerful.
The next group was The CrewOne, and they opted for a fresher and more modern concept with their song.
A continued their story from “Come Back Home” with their dark and mysterious track “I KNOW YOU KNOW”.
ONEUS was followed by ROUND 8with their song “Speed Turn,” which was fun and energetic.
CRAVITY they concluded the group’s performances with their song “Historia,” which showcased each member’s individuality and cohesion when together.
Before the winner was announced, host SHINee‘S Taemin announced that the top two teams with a chance of winning were the two most veteran and senior groups, CRAVITY and ONEUS.
Taemin announced that CRAVITY had won, and the reactions showed how much it meant to all the members.
When they received the trophy, it was clear how excited all the members were.
Leader my spread expressed his gratitude to the people closest to them and the fans for their victory. The members continued to appear very emotional throughout the speech, and the gratitude was clear even as other members spoke.
Wonjin he was also very emotional during his speech.
CRAVITY won a cash prize worth ₩100 million KRW (approximately $71,400 USD) and the opportunity to participate in KCON.
