In 2008, the first film of Twilight Saga was released, almost immediately becoming a cult classic. Dusk stars Kristen Stewart, Robert PattinsonAND Taylor Lautner and tells the story of a human girl who manages to capture the attention of a vampire and the problems their relationship would bring.

The final film came out in 2012, but the series’ popularity actually began in 2005 with the release of Dusk the novel, written by Stephanie Mayer. The fifty-year-old writer has published other works, but the Twilight Saga remains his most popular.

In early October, several accounts shared the discovery of something surprising on the author’s personal site. In the bio section, the final paragraph reveals that Meyer’s first love is writing, but that his second love is K-Pop.

Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in English Literature. She divides her time between Arizona and Washington with her husband. Writing is his first love, his second is Kpop.
