BLACKPINK‘S Rose he almost canceled his new song due to concerns about inspiration.
On October 18, Rosé released her song “APT”. with Bruno Marte.
In an interview with RowingRosé explained that the song was inspired by her favorite Korean drinking game, Apartment. However, the inspiration behind the song concerned her, as she explained, “I remember coming home [from the studio] a little crazy. Is it okay that I wrote a song about a drinking game?”
Rosé then added that after those feelings, she asked her team to delete the song from their phones, but by then they were obsessed with the song.
When the article was posted online, netizens couldn’t get over the idol’s adorable concerns, but some acknowledged her feelings and why she might be worried. Others pointed out that gambling was done a lot when they were younger, adding that it didn’t always necessarily involve drinking.
