The controversy over the actor Lee Yi Kyung has deepened as revelations emerge about the German woman who revealed her private life. According to journalist-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho, the woman, referred to as A, resides in Germany and works for a local company. He reportedly has no history of studying or living in Korea long-term.
Lee Jin-ho revealed that A followed numerous famous Korean male celebrities and charming influencers, sending some of them sexually explicit messages and provocative photos. According to the report, he allegedly sent videos depicting sexual activity and suggestive images to a male influencer, sometimes flirting with phrases such as: “Am I sexier? I’ll show you if we meet,” or using veiled expressions such as “I want to go eat ramen.”
In one particularly shocking claim, A allegedly sent a photo of dogs mating, which was described as bordering on sexual harassment. Multiple sources confirmed that she attempted to contact several Korean men at the same time with sexual messages, showing an excessive preference for Korean males.
The scandal had a heavy impact Lee Yi Kyungwho reportedly suffers from severe mental distress, particularly after withdrawing from a program in which he was actively participating. His agency filed a complaint against A with the producers of the program, but Lee Yi Kyung only received a unilateral notice of withdrawal.
This controversy dates back to last month, when A posted on his blog text messages allegedly exchanged with someone he purported to be Lee Yi Kyung. The messages included sexual content such as questions about chest size and sexually suggestive phrases. A initially claimed the messages were fake, but later reversed his claim, insisting all evidence was genuine.
Although he denies using AI-generated photos, A deleted all posts and ceased his SNS activity after Lee Jin-ho obtained his German social media accounts. Currently, Lee Yi Kyung‘s agency has filed a defamation lawsuit against her, although it remains uncertain whether German authorities will pursue charges of defamation or intimidation.
