The process for sexual attacks of the former member of the NCT Toeil remained in June

On May 9, Maeil Business Star today reported that Taeil, a former member of the NCT, will have its first trial for special accusations of almost rape in June, since the hearing initially scheduled for May 12 at the central district court of Soul was postponed to June 18.

Although the Court has not officially revealed the reason for the delay, the decision is assumed to be related to security problems, since the former president Yoon Suk-Yeol is also due in court that day for a separate high-profile process.

Taeil (real name Moon Tae-Il) was offended without detention in March 2025 together with two accomplices pursuant to the law of Korea on special cases concerning the punishment of sexual crimes. The accusations derive from an accident in June 2024, in which the three presumably attacked a drunk woman sexually attacked.

The initial relationships suggested the possible use of a weapon during the assault, given the position of “quasi-express special”, but the authorities later confirmed that no weapon was involved. This accusation applies when the assault is carried out by two or more individuals or when the victim is in a state of unconsciousness or inability.

  • Just throw it in prison as soon as possible.
  • I saw him drink, lol.
  • I was like “why are they delaying someone like this?” -But now that there are speculations is due to the Yoon Suk-Yeol process, it makes sense.
  • Wow … look at the name of the charge, Lololol.
  • The reason for the delay is also ridiculous of the next level, LOL.

Following the victim’s report, the police asked for arrest mandates for the three accused, but the court denied requests, citing their admission to crime and low flight risk. Taeil was subsequently convened for interrogation in August 2024 and transferred to the accusation in September.

Taeil made his debut in 2016 with NCT U, later joining NCT 127. However, in August 2024, the news gave news of his involvement in a case of criminal sexual aggression, leading to his removal from NCT. In October, Sm Entertainment confirmed that his exclusive contract had been terminated.

The next process should draw significant public control while it will take place next month.
