Unfortunately, INFINITE‘S Dongwoo he has been a victim of scams several times in his life. The idol previously shared that he was scammed more than ten times a year, but had never been given any financial value until recently.
Dongwoo lives at home with his mother and recently appeared on the program I grew up, but I don’t go outa show focused on adults who refuse to leave home.
During part of the episode, the idol’s mother said that he was often scammed. As revealed, he was scammed out of ₩700 million KRW (approximately $521,000 USD) in a decade, and because of this, he was living at home.
Netizens were surprised by the amount and offered hope that Dongwoo would not be scammed again.
