Actress Jeon Jong Seo he was again involved in a controversy.
On December 30th he posted several photos on Instagram with the caption, “Even today we turn…” The photos show her posing for selfies in the car.
While these photos would have been fine at any other time, many felt posting them during the mourning period for the Jeju water the plane crash was inappropriate.

While most people at the time were against posting on social media, many felt that forced mourning was also excessive.
- “Normal people can get away with it, but celebrities should be more cautious. They’re not celebrities at all. Being careful in moments like this is part of their image.”
- “Posting on social media doesn’t mean they aren’t grieving. Watching their every move is so suffocating. You guys are also discovering this through the community forums. You guys say celebrities should be different, yet here you are on a community board criticizing them.

With the continued debate, Jeon Jong Seo ended up deleting the photos.
Meanwhile, the South Korean government declared a 7-day national mourning period following the crash of Jeju Air Flight 2216 at Muan International Airport on December 29.
