The name of BTS’ unreleased album has supposedly been leaked

BTS is officially set to make their long-awaited group comeback on March 20, and while BigHit Music has yet to confirm the album’s title, fans believe it may have already been quietly revealed.

Earlier this week, BigHit Music announced that BTS will release a new album alongside a large-scale world tour. This marks the group’s first studio album since then Trial in June 2022, ending nearly four years of inactivity for the group and immediately igniting excitement in the global ARMY community.

What made this return announcement particularly special was the way it was delivered. Instead of a traditional press release, fans were the first to receive the news, via handwritten letters from members, sent on December 31st, just before the new year. The move was widely praised as a fan-centric approach that strengthened BTS’ close bond with ARMY.

However, the surprises didn’t end there.

Over the past few days, fans have started to notice what initially appeared to be a technical error on BTS’ official website. When changing the site language to English, users were redirected to a blank page displaying only one word: “HI!” The glitch has reportedly occurred multiple times, prompting fans to dig deeper.

Coincidentally, or perhaps intentionally, BigHit Music also launched a countdown website for the upcoming album on January 2nd. Although the page looked minimal at first glance, fans quickly pointed out that the red logo and circular symbols could be interpreted as a stylized version of the word “HI,” designed through bilingual word games that combine English and Korean elements.

These findings have led many ARMYs to speculate as much “HI” it could be the official title of BTS’ next album.

The theory gained further popularity as fans recalled past moments that now seem strangely intentional:

During a group livestream at the beach last August, shortly after completing the album’s production at a songwriting camp in Los Angeles, Jin repeatedly opened his comments with “HI,” provoking playful teasing from V.

The word “hello” also appears in the lyrics of Life goes onconnecting to the song’s message of continuity and connection:
“With the ‘annyeong’ we begin and end the day…”

Adding symbolic weight, the March 20 release date is being interpreted as a new beginning for BTS after years of hiatus, military service and solo activities. In that context, a simple but meaningful greeting like “HI” seems appropriate: a reintroduction rather than a farewell.

BigHit’s strategy earns praise

Rather than accidental spoilers, many fans believe BigHit Music is deliberately providing ARMYs with a series of clues, turning the comeback into a collective puzzle. This slow-burn promotional strategy was widely applauded, with fans calling it one of the company’s most creative campaigns to date.

Some fan reactions include:

  • “Now there are clues everywhere – we just have to wait and see.”
  • “BTS didn’t really spoil anything… BigHit did everything for them.”
  • “Makes sense. We don’t say goodbye, we say HELLO.”
  • “It feels like a treasure hunt, not a promotion.”

As the anticipation grows day by day, ARMYs continue to analyze every detail, impatiently counting down to March. Whether or not “HI” turns out to be the album’s official title, one thing is clear: BTS’ comeback is already shaping up to be one of the most memorable comebacks in K-pop history.
