While it is easy to assume that popular celebrities do not face financial difficulties, it is not always the case. Lately, Got7‘S Yugyeom The fans surprised with his admission to face financial concerns, bringing to criticism to his past agency.
Got7 Debluato in 2014 and are one of the many third generation groups attributed to contribute to spreading K-pop all over the world. The group was the first K-Pop group to win different distinctions and made many record tours all over the world.
The group is also known for remaining a group despite having left Jyp Entertainment in 2021 while juggling their solo activities.
Recently, Yugyeom has completed her American leg Trusted World Tour and, while in America, they sat for an interview at the University of Southern California as part of BillboardSpotlight series by the artist.

At the end of the interview, Yugyeom was asked if he wanted to offer some advice to school students, who replied that they should have devoted themselves to the things they do to avoid regrets.
So he talks about his life experiences, mentioning that there was a time when he had no money even if he is now the head of his family. He adds that during the period the Covid-19 restrictions were stronger, he had no job and that he always looked at his bank account.
Yugyeom continued that due to this free time he was able to carry out some activities that in the end led to unite AOMG.
While Yugyeom’s message is stimulating and makes sense, many fans have been questioned a specific part of his advice. With the success and popularity of Got7, the fans were confused for the concerns of the idol for his finances.
