On November 13, KST, Everyday reported that the 32-year-old had contacted the South Korean embassy in the Philippines asking for help in leaving the country after confessing to officials that she had been using drugs. The woman reportedly said she was facing a dangerous situation and received assistance to get to the airport from the hotel and onto the plane from Manila to Seoul. But Kim never specified what kind of danger he was in. The embassy did not reveal what assistance they provided her and also said it had not yet been confirmed whether Kim was in real danger.
On Tuesday, November 12, Kim Na Jung fell in love with her Instagram and made a worrying post claiming he was in a life-threatening situation. In another post she confessed to taking illegal drugs in Manila, adding that she couldn’t get on the plane to Korea because everyone there was filming her. “like the ‘Truman Show.’” She also feared that boarding the plane would cost her life in some way.

Although he later deleted the posts, an anonymous netizen launched an investigation into Kim’s suspected drug use. They officially petitioned for the Seoul Police to take over the case, as they believed that drug abuse by celebrities negatively affected teenagers in the same habit.
Kim Na Jung reportedly turned herself in to police for drug use, but it is unclear whether this occurred before or after the anonymous complaint.
