A 30 -year -old Korean man tried to rob a bank in Busan with a toy water gun.
On February 11, KST, Busan Gijang’s police station announced that he has requested a stopping mandate for Mr. A with the charge of attempted robbery. According to police reports, he entered a bank in Gijang-Gun on February 10, around 10:58, and tried to rob his place.
Mr. A covered his face with a fur hat and a scarf, pretending to keep a gun. But in reality, he transported a covered dinosaur -shaped toy water gun in a black plastic bag. He shouted to employees and customers within the bank to get out immediately. He then asked that an employee put all 50,000 KRW invoices in the travel bag he was transporting.
While the robbery was underway, a 53 -year -old customer named Park Cheon Gyu took Mr. A pistol and he faced him. Many employees of the bank rushed against them and subjected the Mr. before delivering him to the police. According to relationships, the robbery lasted only two minutes.
The police believe that Mr. A committed crime because of financial difficulties. Mr. A is a native of Busan who transferred his family from Seoul to his hometown five years ago after his business failed. It was also not able to find a new job and has been unemployed for five years.
According to reports, he told the police that he was crossing extreme financial difficulties and had been expelled from the small officer where he lived because of not being able to pay his bills. The toy gun he used in the robbery was confirmed that he is his son, who is only eight years old. A police officer told the media that Mr. A seemed to have committed crime because of his son, who this year begins the elementary school and needs many things for school that are difficult to afford to his father.
Park Cheon Gyu, the customer who contributed to removing Mr. A, according to reports was the operating of special forces in the army. The police plan to present him with a commendation certificate for submitting the suspicion.
