November 22nd, the show of survival League of the Universe its first episode aired.
League of the Universe is the sequel to Ticket of the Universethe survival program that was formed UNIS and features 42 contestants. The show has contestants form teams using a draft system as they compete against each other. In keeping with the show’s title, members will be swapped between teams like in professional sports.
Of the contestants, many viewers were familiar Cha Woongkipreviously appeared on The planet of boys AND Be world class. Woongki successfully debuted as a member of TO1 (then TOO) after this last show.
The idol would leave the group just two years later.
League of the UniverseThe first episode of allowed Woongki to discuss his time in the group and his relationship with his former groupmates.
During the part of the episode where the contestants were introduced, Woongki’s reaction to Jang Kyunghoanother member of TO1, was shown.
While Kyungho says he doesn’t want to talk about Woongki, Woongki admits that “Naturally he walked away” from TO1 members. He also says there’s bad blood between them, even though he doesn’t have any of their phone numbers.
While the pair may not be close at the moment, it’s good that there is no bad blood between them as they compete.
