The idol wrongly accused of school violence returns in a new survival show

Previously, BLACK6IX‘S Kim Hyunjae had to leave the survival show upon reboot Rush hour due to allegations of school bullying, which he strongly denied. He said he resigned to avoid influencing his teammates and also filed a lawsuit over the allegations. It seeks ₩500 million KRW (approximately $377,000 USD) in damages. The accusations turned out to be false. The accuser, Kim’s former classmate, was ordered by the court to pay damages to Kim. The court also acquitted Kim of all charges.

Kim Hyunjae decided to try his luck on the survival show again PROJECT7. The judges questioned him about his past controversies which forced him to give up Rush hour.

He explained it in an overwhelmed and trembling voice.

I was getting ready for a 12pm show on Peak Time when a post accusing me of school violence was uploaded and I left the show. I wanted to prove that it wasn’t true, but many had already formed that image of school violence about me. After I left the show, I spent a lot of time feeling lost. To prove my innocence I reported them and fought for about a year. For now things have resolved themselves perfectly and I have been acquitted.
