In an interview, a hairdresser further exposed this third-generation idol’s “main character” syndrome, as well as the attitude towards the staff and group members.
On October 1, a hairdresser met with Sports Kyunghyang for an interview about April and its former member Hyunjoo, who accused the girl group of bullying in its days of activity in 2021.
Obviously, netizens took the victim’s side, which prompted April to break up.
Three years after the incident, witnesses suddenly talk about it after remaining silent and reveal that Hyunjoo was not being bullied. She was the bully.

Hairstylist A said that April is the nicest group of girls they have met and denied ever doing anything to ostracize Hyunjoo. Rather, the former member was the one who had an “unpredictable” personality.
He explained:
“Rather than bullying, the atmosphere was that she stood out on her own and didn’t know where to turn, so not only the members but also the staff didn’t make fun of her.”
The designer insisted that bullying is impossible, comparing the idol to a “bomb that with a simple trigger will make it explode.” At the time, the staff recalled how April had taken better care of Hyunjoo.

Regarding the star’s attitude, the stylist also revealed:
“The label always puts Hyunjoo in the center. She knew she was the prettiest and developed the mentality that she had to be the prettiest. We call it ‘main character syndrome’. On top of that, Hyunjoo had a victim mentality, so how could there not be problems?”.
As someone who has worked for the group since their internship days, the stylist went on to say that Hyunjoo has shown no affection to her co-members or her idol career.
