Funeral plans after the tragic passage
Today, on July 4, the world of football remained still as the funeral of Diogo Jota and his younger brother André Silva was held in San Cosme, Portugal, just 1 day after the tragic car accident that caused their lives.

The tragedy took place in the early hours of July 3, while Jota and AndrĂ© were traveling to Santander, Spain, to recover a ferry in the United Kingdom. Jota had decided not to fly after lung surgery, listening to medical advice. However, the journey ended in the crack. Their Lamborghini Green HuracĂ¡n underwent a burst of tires on the A-52 motorway near Zamora, left the street and broke out on fire.
Both brothers were declared dead on the scene. The autopsies were conducted in Spain before the bodies were transported to Portugal for burial.
