The fourth generation K-Pop group’s US tour has been canceled with just two weeks’ notice

Last month, OMEGAX‘S AMERICAN TOUR 2024 was announced. It was scheduled to begin in Glenside at the end of November.

Just a couple of weeks before the tour began, fans noticed that there had been little to no promotion. This sparked concerns and fans began contacting venues. Based on responses from locals, it seemed like the tour hadn’t started yet. However, there had been no official statement from the tour organizer or the artist’s company, IPQ Entertainment.

The last time @fromm_store released on the Omega X tour was 22 DAYS AGO!

The last time @OmegaX_official posted on the tour was 34 DAYS AGO!

Even though the tour is somehow still going on, there has been literally NO promotion

HEY @IPQ_Inc @OmegaX_official not to be that guy but give us an update on the US tour. It’s been several days since the kpop store posted a message about the tour cancellation and now many venues have confirmed it. We need to know soon whether to cancel flights and hotels.

Now, from the shop announced in English that the OMEGA The group’s official social media accounts reposted it, adding a shorter but Korean statement, explaining that it was canceled due to “unavoidable circumstances” and that event organizers would refund ticket purchases.

Naturally, fans are disappointed by the news but not entirely surprised. Many were eager to reunite with the OMEGA

However, fans were also disturbed by how rushed the tour was from the start. They are calling out the lack of professionalism of companies on X (formerly Twitter).

please i hope omega x and ipq never try to tour with fromm again, never fucking again! this was a disaster from the start.

You should probably make your US tour announcements in English, and maybe you should let fans know next time instead of canceling dates and staying silent for a week, and then releasing new content as if nothing happened. Incredibly disappointed.

However, fans point out that their anger is not directed at the members of OMEGA X, but at the companies in question.

IPQ and the fromm store are attempting to compensate fans who purchased VIP packages by offering a signed poster, a set of photo cards and a video call with a member.

Hopefully we can do a full group tour after that Hwichan AND sebinwho enlisted for compulsory military service this year are discharged.
