Former member of the CLC Elk He revealed that he was recently hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning (CO), using his experience to raise awareness of the dangers of this silent killer.

On May 2, Elkie took his personal Instagram to share photos from the hospital and explain the frightening experience. “Yesterday morning, I woke up with a severe headache. While I was about to take a little medicine, everything suddenly became dark, I hit more things and then I collapsed” He wrote. “I was taken to the hospital in the ambulance, and only then did I find that he was carbon monoxide poisoning.” According to reports, the cause was a loss of gas. “The gas has no smell, color or sound, so I simply thought I was tired and sleepy. I have not noticed anything wrong.”

Elkie underlined the seriousness of Co’s poisoning and prevention advice shared by his personal experience. “Carbon monoxide is difficult to detect since it is odorless, colorless and silent. If your home has a water heater, a gas stove, a coal heater, etc., be sure to correctly ventilate the area and install a co -r.” He also recommended that if you suspect CO poisoning, you should immediately open windows, leave the area, go to the hospital or ask for help.

“This accident was really dangerous. Fortunately, I am recovering without serious injuries. Please, don’t take the security for granted: protect yourself and those who surround you”, Elkie concluded.
