In a new interview with Sports busyheld on April 3, 2025 (KST), the Idol that has become criminal refuted the report, commenting that he still lives in Korea and is not trying to start an activity abroad.
First of all, the speech on me that I leave Korea is not true. I currently live in Korea and most of my trips abroad are because I was invited to the weddings of friends or to take me personal time. Apart from that, I have no business meetings or I’m not planning anything elsewhere.
They say I am still interested in the entertainment sector, but the fact is that I don’t have such plans. The only recent interaction I had with someone from the entertainment industry was to eat with people I worked with, remembering the old times.

Seungri also clarified that, from his liberation from prison in February 2023, it is “He is currently not engaged in any economic activity.”
They are all voices and gossip. Since I have many acquaintances abroad, people seem to assume that I am planning something abroad, but it’s not true: I have no corporate plans. My recent visit to China was not to participate in a club event or to start something there. I only went to participate in the wedding of a friend. I am not going to start over.
