On September 17, an online community posted an image titled “A famous math instructor liked BJ Juice Se Yeon’s post,” which exposed the instructor’s account. The image showed BJ Juice Se Yeon dancing in a tube top.
The controversy stems from the fact that the person who liked the video is a renowned math teacher, which has led to criticism about whether this behavior is appropriate for an educator who is supposed to be a role model for students.
In response, netizens expressed mixed opinions. Some defended the instructor, “We don’t overreact to a simple ‘like.’ It’s easy to accidentally ‘like’ something while scrolling through Instagram,” AND “Instagram likes are often mistakes… it’s not a big deal.” Others argued: “Even if it was a mistake, the fact that a teacher would appreciate such a video is shocking,” AND “How can we be sure it was an accident? The fact that such explicit content appears in the algorithm is disturbing.”
BJ Juice Se Yeon had already been in the spotlight on August 8, when she was spotted walking alongside Bang Si-hyuk, president of HYBE, on the streets of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
BJ Juice Se Yeon, born in 2000, began her career as an internet broadcaster in 2019. Since then, she has gained a large following through various platforms such as AfreecaTV, YouTube, and TikTok. Recently, she has gained a lot of attention for her appearance on the Netflix original show “The Influencer.”
