This is INB100.We would like to provide an update relating to legal procedures relating to the dissemination of false and post -harmful information on Baekhyun.
First, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans who have continually reported these issues and have patiently waited for updates, all in support of the protection of the rights and interests of our artist Baekhyun.
To safeguard the rights of our artist Baekhyun, our company has constantly monitored various platforms, including SNS (X, YouTube, etc.), the online communities (DC inside, Theqoo, Nate Pan, etc.) and Daum Cafes (female generation, soulderser, Jjukbbang Cafe, etc.) we collected harmful posts and comments aimed at Baekhyun.
Based on the materials collected, we filed a criminal complaint on the 15th with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul, asking for an investigation into the accusations including defamation, insult, dissemination of false information and sexual harassment.
We will continue to monitor the harmful content alone, carefully reviewing the materials provided by fans to collect and preserve evidence and pursue a strong legal action.
Going forward, our company will continue to respond firmly, without any clemency or settlements, of all the actions harmful to our artists and team members. We commit ourselves to doing our best to protect our artist’s rights and interests.
