K-Soula former member of Fantasy guyswas accused of plagiarism NCT JAEHYUN“Smoke”.
In August 2024, Jaehyun of NCT released his first solo album, J, with the track of the title “Smoke”.
The music video for the song surprised the fans at the exit, telling a story with callbacks to the Greek myth of Narcissus. The scenes show multiple versions of Jaehyun who seem to interact with each other, including an intimate sensation scene with a mirror.

At the end of January, K-Soul, which was recently announced for not being a member of Fantasy Boysreleased “tonight”. Shortly after, Jaehyun fans called the music video for different similarities with “smoke”.
Many images seemed to look strongly to “smoke” and follow a similar plot.

The Idol publishing house shared an update on X, saying that the video had to admire a tribute to a K-Soul director. The post continued by saying that in the future they would make sure to communicate correctly between the production team and the distribution.
