On July 13, his younger brother shared the excruciating news through a touching Instagram post, leaving fans and colleagues in deep pain. The post included tender Kang’s photo in a hospital dress, smiling slowly while holding a breath of cream, one of his last moments visible with joy in an exhausting battle with the disease.
The brother wrote, “Even as he endured immense pain, he worried about others – he was ready for me. He had not been able to eat for months, but I insisted on the fact that I used his card and never jumping a meal … even while survived the painkillers, he said it was grateful that it was not worse … my sister, you crossed so much. You went so much.
Among the numerous tributes that followed, the actress Park Ju-Hyun-the ex classmate of Kang Seo-Ha of the Korea National University of Arts-Non commented on a sincere comment, “My deepest condolences. Yewon … please stay without pain and keep that beautiful smile up there.”
