The “Culinary Class Wars” Triple Star chef was canceled for cheating on his ex-wife

On October 30, Dispatch released interviews with Triple Star’s ex-wife, Mrs. A, and ex-girlfriend, Mrs. B. The allegations suggest that Triple Star secured employment at a Michelin-starred restaurant through efforts of Ms. A’s lobbying, and that he was simultaneously dating Ms. B while in a committed relationship with Ms. A.

According to the report, Triple Star, who was a student studying abroad, first met Ms. A, a businesswoman in the United States, in 2014. Ms. A allegedly helped Triple Star get a job in a Michelin starred restaurant by giving away two Chanel bags to the restaurant management.

However, Triple Star responded, “I know Mrs. A bought Chanel bags for two people,” but he insisted “I worked as an unpaid intern for three months. I worked incredibly hard and within a month I was hired as a full-time employee. Could it be the Chanel bags’ fault? No, it was because the head chef recognized my abilities.”

The relationship between Ms. A and Triple Star lasted from 2014 until their divorce in 2022. Through the media, Ms. A revealed letters written by Triple Star that served as her letters of reflection. These included admissions such as “Sneak watching CCTV footage in a dark storeroom of a provocatively dressed customer sitting alone at a table” AND “Asking her to sleep with other men because of my own greed.”

Meanwhile, Ms B was reportedly involved with Triple Star while he was still in a relationship with Ms A. The connection was discovered when Ms B sent a direct message to the restaurant’s social media account, run by Mrs. A, who was also an investor in Triple Star’s current restaurant. Triple Star had apparently ended his relationship with Ms. B “ghost”.

Regarding this situation, Mrs. B stated: “I had heard rumors about his problems with women, but I never thought I would be one of them,” adding that she discovered she was part of his double plan after being ghosted.

Additionally, both Mrs. A and Mrs. B expressed: “He turned out to be someone we never want to see again. We don’t care if he cooks in his restaurant, but we don’t want to see his face in public media.”

The Triple Star chef rose to fame thanks to his appearance on the Netflix variety show “Culinary class wars.” He married Mrs A in 2022, but their marriage ended in divorce after just three months. He currently runs his own restaurant in Cheongdam-dong.
