The group’s agency, IST ENTERTAINMENT, announced that Jacob had been suffering from headaches and neck pain, which prompted the group to make this decision. To prioritize his well-being, the agency explained that Jacob will undergo thorough medical examinations and treatment upon his return to Korea after the concert.
“IST ENTERTAINMENT would like to inform you regarding the health status and schedule of THE BOYZ member Jacob,” the statement read.Unfortunately, Jacob will have to sit out during THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR : ZENERATION Ⅱ performance in Kuala Lumpur due to headaches and neck pain.”
“Upon his return to Korea, he will undergo extensive examinations and treatment.“, he added. “We sincerely apologize for causing concern with such news.”
The ZENERATION II Tour
The Kuala Lumpur concert is part of THE BOYZ’s third world tour, “ZENERATION II”, which kicked off in Seoul in July and has since hit several major cities. Kicking off with a three-day concert in Seoul from July 12 to 14, the tour took the group to various cities across the United States, including New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Jose. From there, THE BOYZ continued their tour in Asia with performances in Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila and Macau before arriving at Kuala Lumpur September 7th.
The tour will continue with the next shows in Paris on September 13th AND London on September 15thFans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of additional dates and locations, as teased by the message “AND MORE” on the official tour poster.
