The BLACKPINK x “Fortnite” collaboration brings Lisa into the world of Battle Royale

BLACKPINK’s Lisa will star in the twelfth season of the “Fortnite” Festival which launches on November 29, 2025, marking the Thai rapper and singer’s debut as a playable character in the video game universe.

The collaboration positions her as a lead player for the Starlux Music Pass, with Epic Games preparing an extensive virtual concert experience tailored to her performance.

Lisa’s arrival in “Fortnite” comes at a particularly significant moment in her career. The artist released his debut solo album, Alter Ego, earlier this year and has since founded LLOUD, his own independent record label launching in 2024, according to allKpop. The collaboration represents his first official entry into “Fortnite,” although his presence in the gaming community has already expanded through previous in-game dance emotes featuring his music.

The partnership will introduce numerous Lisa-themed cosmetics and items for players to acquire. A Rockstar outfit inspired by the music video for the song “Rockstar” will be available, along with additional alternate costumes and the game character Melodie Mars, who will serve as a supporting artist during the Festival event. Three of Lisa’s songs, “Rockstar”, “F*CK THE WORLD (Vixi Solo Version)” and “New Woman”, will be featured as Jam Tracks in the game for players to use during the Festival game.

In addition to the cosmetics, Epic Games designed a custom virtual stage for Lisa’s performance, complete with flashy visuals, lasers, and specialized lighting effects intended to amplify the concert experience. Free job alert reported. The collaboration represents a continuation of the “Fortnite” Festival’s strategy of integrating major musical talent into its platform, following previous headliners including Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Gorillaz and Snoop Dogg.

In a statement, Lisa expressed her excitement about the collaboration, noting how her alter egos came to life in the digital environment of “Fortnite” and highlighting her excitement at showcasing favorite songs and outfits from her debut album.

The Nov. 29 release date aligns with the debut of “Fortnite” Chapter 7 Season 1, suggesting the collaboration could integrate with larger seasonal content updates. Players interested in securing Lisa’s content via the Starlux Music Pass will have access to various rewards, while additional exclusive items are expected to become available in the “Fortnite” in-game store. Epic Games has indicated that further details about the event will be revealed in the coming days leading up to launch, as per Rolling Stone.
