A popular SM Entertainment trainee has confirmed his departure from the company.
In 2023, SM Entertainment he announced it Shotaro AND Sungchan would start from NCT to debut in the new male group RIIZE. The company also said that a new NCT unit would be formed through the survival show NCT Universe: LASTART.
This new subunit revealed its first two members, leaving the remaining positions to be decided through the survival program.
Ultimately, the winning trainees debuted as Desire NCTand the others were presumed to have returned to training at the company.
Updates on some trainees were few and far between, with fans relying on netizens to spot them in the wild, like the clips below of the trainees Anderson AND Kassho.

Recently, Anderson provided a surprising update on his current activities.
In early January, Anderson’s TikTok account became active again, with him sharing a new dance cover. He also created a new Instagram account with the same username, uploading just one photo of himself to his feed so far.

In an Instagram story, Anderson shared that he left SM Entertainment due to his and the company’s plans not aligning. In a TikTok comment to a fan, Anderson even talked about “getting out of the trenches.”
Many fans were excited to see the former intern being active on social media again and wished him the best in his future endeavors.
