In the months following his discharge from the military, Jin went out of his way to interact with fans. On November 24, Jin hosted a fan event for 50 fans at Lotte World theme park in South Korea, where they could ride the Merry Go-Round with him!

After the event, Jin shared some photos from the theme park.

At the event, netizens shared the amazing gifts Jin gave to ARMYs, showing how much he loved the fans.

However, netizens noticed that within hours of the event, they were already seeing the autographed albums that Jin had given to ARMYs sold, including one for ₩350,000 KRW (approximately $249 USD).

Netizens shared their anger that Jin’s kind nature was being taken advantage of.

Why did you buy the album if you don’t have the money?
The poor guy went to all that trouble, even taking motion sickness medicine, to open the event and get that autograph, and now you’re selling it?
Are you broke?
If you’re broke enough to sell it, give up on life already.

After the event, Jin wanted to chat with more ARMYs since he had a fan call event. Netizens pointed out that it seemed unfair to see that a select few ARMYs had interacted with Jin twice, at Lotte World and through fan call, especially since the aim was apparently for the idol to meet as many fans as possible.

Jin always wants to interact with ARMYs, but netizens think there should be stricter rules to ensure fairness and prevent taking advantage of the idol’s generosity.
