In the months following his discharge from the military, Jin went out of his way to interact with fans. On November 24, Jin hosted a fan event for 50 fans at Lotte World theme park in South Korea, where they could ride the Merry Go-Round with him!

However, netizens noticed that within hours of the event, they were already seeing the autographed albums that Jin had given to ARMYs sold, including one for ₩350,000 KRW (approximately $249 USD).

After the event, Jin wanted to chat with more ARMYs since he had a fan call event. Netizens pointed out that it seemed unfair to see that a select few ARMYs had interacted with Jin twice, at Lotte World and through fan call, especially since the aim was apparently for the idol to meet as many fans as possible.
