A heartbreaking scandal has shaken the Japanese entertainment industry. According to reports, a member of the female group recently made his debut, Pretty Chuu was raped and impregnated by his manufacturer’s boyfriend, pushing the victim to contact a YouTuber to ask for help and eventually present a police relationship.
The alleged victim is Amamiya Shauna, nineteen, one of the six members of Pretty Chuu, a group described by his producer Yurinya as who embodies the “strength”, “transitional”, “innocence” and “pure inaugural heart” of the girls. The group made its debut on the scene on June 16 and quickly attracted attention online.
On 1 August, Yurinya, a Japanese influencer with over 1.3 million followers through Tiktok and Instagram, issued a public declaration in response to the leaked accusations regarding his five -year -old boyfriend, Saito Taichi. He confirmed that Saito had impregnated one of the members of the group after talking to the people involved. While Yurinya did not name the victim, the media identified it as Amamiya Shuna.
In his declaration, Yurinya expressed deep regret and disgust for the actions of his ex -boyfriend, describing them as “extremely irresponsible and despicable, both as a human being and as an adult who works”. He publicly cut all the links with him: “As a producer and as an individual, I clearly declare that I will have no further connections with Saito Taichi”.
Shortly thereafter, Shuna published a video on Instagram in which it was seen holding hands with someone who presumed to be Yurinya, writing: “I will work hard with Yurinya”.
Further shocking details were revealed by the famous Japanese YouTuber Korekore, who said Saito had stripped and filmed Shauna secretly while staying at Yurinya’s house. Although he apologized through the messaging app, Korekore claims that Saito subsequently raped Shauna while sleeping, leading to an unwanted pregnancy.
According to reports, Shauna had an abortion and took a break from the group. At the time, Chuu’s direction claimed to suffer from chronic disease. Korekore also revealed that Saito threatened Shauna to keep the accident hidden, warning her that the truth would damage Yurinya and the reputation of the group. Presumably he also offered her an agreement with the monitoring of 1 million Yen (about $ 6,752 USD).
After consulting Korekore, who initially contacted for support, Shauna decided to take legal actions and presented a police relationship.
The disturbing case aroused indignation through social media and a renewed control of the dynamics of power and exploitation in the idol sector. Fans and defense groups are now asking for justice and more protective measures for young artists in the J-Pop scene.
