Ahn Sung-Hyun, husband of singer and actress Sung Yu -ri, was granted the deposit following her sentence in a case of high-profile corruption corruption. The Soul High Court approved the causing request on June 11, a few months after Ahn was sentenced to four years and six months in prison.

Next to Ahn, the former CEO of Bithumb Holdings Lee Sang-Joon was sentenced to two years in prison and fined 50 million KRW, while the businessman Kang Jong-Hyun received a year and six months. Public ministries said that Ahn, in collusion with Kang, had deceived him in believing that a bustarella of 2 billion KRW was urgently necessary for a list, a statement that proved to be false.
