A blessing takes two, especially for Street women fighter choreographer Monica Shin – real name Shin Jung Woo – who announced the news of her marriage and pregnancy, in tandem.
Monica, 38, shared the news in an Instagram post via a handwritten note.
“A truly happy and precious miracle has come to me,” he began.
“I met a person I love and we promised to spend the rest of our lives together. He is a person who is not in front of the public but lives his life calmly in his space. Even though he may seem normal, to me, he is more special than anyone else.”
“Another miracle that will deepen our love – a precious life – has come to us,” he added.
“I have received so much love and support from all of you and I am deeply grateful. For a long time I have wondered how I should break this news. After much thought, I have gathered the courage, inspired by all your warm support, to share it with you.”
“I am so happy to be able to share this miraculous moment of happiness with you. I sincerely thank everyone who has always supported me with warmth,” he continued.
“I hope you will continue to send your love and blessings to me and my family in the future.”
Monica, who is the leader of the dance group PROWDMON, which gained popularity after their 2021 appearance on the dance competition show Street women fighter, he assured fans that the news will not hinder his career.
“If anyone is worried that I might neglect my activities, please don’t be,” he said.
“I am confident that this new chapter in my life will inspire my dance and artistic work with a deeper and stronger passion. My love and passion for dance will continue as always.”
