Stray Kids emerged as winners of “Top Global K-Pop Artist” during the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA).
In this category, they beat world-famous global stars BTS Jungkook and Jimin, as well as their fourth-generation rivals ENHYPEN and TXT.
“We just want to say, you know, a big, huge thank you to STAY everywhere, around the world. And without you guys, we wouldn’t be here on this stage right now receiving such a significant award,” Stray told the kids in their acceptance speech.
“We want to give back by working hard and creating music you truly love. It’s all thanks to STAY, so thank you very much!”
With this, Stray Kids became the second act to win this title after NewJeans.

Stray Kids lit up the 2024 Billboard Music Awards with fiery performances of their hits “CHK CHK BOOM” and “JJAM.”
Clad in black leather outfits and statement chains, the eight members showed off their perfect choreography and powerful vocals for “CHK CHK BOOM,” ending with fireworks and as mysterious red paint landed on IN’s cheek.
The set then transformed into a vibrant stage with drips of green paint as a backdrop, signaling the start of Stray Kids’ “JJAM” performance. The members – now wearing T-shirts, denim vests and pink bomber jackets – showed off their rapping skills and epic moves during the dance break.
Stray Kids’ 4+ minute performance ended with them dancing en masse and loud applause.
