According to the year-end charts released by Billboard on December 13 (KST), Stray Kids (including 8 members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and IN) ranked 73rd on the chart of Top Artists – the highest ranking ever achieved by a K-pop group.
On the annual Billboard 200 album chart, the group secured two spots: “樂-STAR (Rock-Star)” ranked 123rd and “ATE” ranked 139th. Notably, in the Best Album Sales category, “樂-STAR” ranked 4th and “ATE” ranked 9th, marking the highest ranking ever for a Korean artist. Additionally, Stray Kids dominated other categories, taking 1st and 2nd place in the World Albums chart, 1st place in the World Albums Artists category, 2nd place in Top Album Sales Artists, and 4th place in both the Top Artists – Duo/Group and Billboard. 200 Artists – Duo/Group Categories.
On December 12, Stray Kids also captured global attention with their appearance at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA). After winning the Top K-Pop Album award at last year’s ceremony, this year they brought takes home the Top Global K-Pop Artist award.
On December 13, the group released a new album, SKZHOP HIPTAPE “合 (HOP),” and its title track, “Walkin On Water.” The music video for the new song quickly rose to number one on YouTube’s global music video chart, demonstrating their global influence.
Currently, Stray Kids are in the midst of their world tour, Stray Kids World Tour “dominATE”, which features a total of 48 shows in 32 cities, including massive stadium concerts in 25 locations around the world. The tour was met with huge success, further cementing the group’s status as global icons.
