On December 18, Soyeon appeared on the web variety show “YongTaro,” hosted by comedian Lee Yong-jin. During the show, Soyeon participated in a tarot reading regarding (G)I-DLE’s future.
When Soyeon asked, “How long do you think our team will last?” Lee Yong-jin checked the tarot cards and predicted: “At least until the age of 31” providing his predictions for the future of (G)I-DLE.
Lee Yong-jin then asked: “Do you guys ever fight?” To which Soyeon answered honestly: “Everyday.” When Lee Yong-jin expressed curiosity about how girl groups fight, Soyeon stood up and demonstrated by shouting, saying: “As.”
Lee Yong-jin, impressed by his lively reenactment, replied: “That’s how you lasted so long. If you go behind the backs of others, you won’t last long.” Soyeon reassured him, saying: “We have none of this.”
During the show, Lee Yong-jin also recognized Soyeon’s talent. He recalled, “When I first met Soyeon, she was on the show “Do You Know Hip-Hop?”.
