South Korean boy group Idntt expands to 15 members by launching second unit Yeaware

South Korean boy group idntt officially expanded to 15 members on January 5, 2026, with the debut of its second unit, yesweare, marking another major step towards the group’s planned 24-member lineup.

The expansion came as MODHAUS unveiled eight new members via yesweare, joining the seven members of unevermet, the first unit which debuted in August 2025. The 15 members performed together at a showcase held at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on January 5 at 8pm KST.

The yesweare unit includes Lee Cheong-myeong, Towa, Lee Kyu-hyuk, Park Nu-ri, Kim Seong-jun, Han Ye-joon, Choi Gyeong-been and Hwang Eun-soo. These members join the existing unevermet lineup of Kim Do-hun, Kim Hee-ju, Choi Tae-in, Lee Jae-young, Kim Ju-ho, Nam Ji-woon and Lee Hwan-hee, according to Herald of Korea.

The group released their second mini album titled “yesweare” on January 5, 2026 at 6 PM KST across all global music platforms. The album contains five tracks, including the title track “Pretty Boy Swag”, which combines bass, electronic guitar and brass with synchronized choreography designed for all 15 members.

This version highlights the group’s unique narrative structure, which is incorporated into the names of its units. When read in sequence, the three units, unevermet, yesweare and the forthcoming itsnotover, form the phrase “You’ve never met, yes we are, it’s not over”, symbolizing the group’s gradual revelation to the public, the Korea Times reported.

“With seven members, the stage already seemed full,” unevermet member Kim Hee-ju said at the showcase. “With eight more, we can show the performance of a mega troupe on a much larger scale. The energy and impact is completely different.”

The album also includes “Yes We Are”, performed by the eight members of yesweare, which emphasizes self-definition through industrial dance sounds mixed with Crunk&B and house influences. Other tracks include “BOYS”, “Rage Problem” and “Moon Burn”.

Developed by MODHAUS under the leadership of CEO Jaden Jeong, idntt follows a soft launch structure similar to the company’s women’s group tripleS. The project will eventually reach 24 members with the debut of the third unit, itsnotover, which has not yet been announced.

Member Lee Cheong-myeong highlighted the group’s strength in diversity. “With so many members, everyone brings their own individuality. That’s why we believe our identity is diversity.”

yesweare’s debut represents the midpoint of idntt’s ambitious expansion, with nine members yet to be revealed across the final unit, as per SBS Star.
