The South Korean government declared a 7-day national mourning period following the crash of Jeju Air Flight 2216 at Muan International Airport on December 29.
The plane, coming from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed after landing on its belly and veering off the runway.
As of 7 pm KST on December 29, 177 of the 181 passengers and crew were confirmed dead. Two survived and two were still considered missing.
For the Korean entertainment industry, broadcasters quickly announced show cancellations following the tragic news.

With a 7-day mourning period officially declared, further cancellations are expected. The mourning period will end on Saturday, January 4 at 12:00 am (Sunday, January 5 at 12:00 am KST.)
