During their judicial session against Ador on March 7, Newjeans said that Hybe offered a preferential treatment against Le Sserafim, before alluding that the agency used Newjeans to obtain an approval contract for the Music Girl Source group.
In particular, the Newjeans implied that the Ambassador contract of the Le Sserafim brand with the LV luxury brand was guaranteed using Hyein, which had also been selected as an ambassador. “When we contacted the brand, they replied that Hybe first made the offer and even apologized, stating that they thought that the offer was made with our approval“, Also added Newjeans.

Sserafim has never received any special treatment or unfair profits in the selection process as ambassador for a specific brand. Our relationship with the brand began in April 2022, when the member Sakura signed a contract with the brand. At the time, we were able to obtain mutually satisfactory results from the collaboration and we discussed the possibility of expanding to an ambassador based on a team through the Mark Japanese office, which was the way it materialized. This has been done completely unrelated to any other artist. This can be sufficiently demonstrated through objective tests and we would like to clarify that we can clarify this at any time in the future based on the legal need.
In addition, the statements raised regarding the debut times and the Newjeans process are also very far from the objective facts. Our company has continued to provide full support for debut preparations for Newjeans’ members, also to the point where they were transferred to Ador.
