According to Newsen on November 12, Song Jae Rim was found dead this afternoon. He was 39 years old.
The morgue of the deceased has been set up at the Yeouido St. Mary Hospital Funeral Home, Room 2. The coffin will be taken out on November 14 at noon.
Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim made his acting debut in 2011 with tvN’s “Cool Guys, Hot Ramen,” and has built his filmography by appearing in MBC’s “Moon Embracing the Sun,” “Two Weeks,” “Inspiring Generation” of KBS 2TV and “La Sirena Idle” of tvN. He made a strong impression especially in “Moon Embracing the Sun” playing the loyal bodyguard Jae-woon in Lee Hwon’s character (played by Kim Soo Hyun).
In 2014, Song Jae Rim gained a lot of love by appearing as a virtual couple with actress Kim So Eun on MBC’s “We Got Married.” Later, Song Jae Rim also worked together with Kim So Eun in “Our Gap-soon”. “Our Gap-soon” was the first major broadcast drama in which Song Jae Rim played the lead role, giving the project special significance.
Subsequently, he appeared in SBS’s “Secret Mother”, JTBC’s “Clean with Passion for Now”, KBS 2TV’s “Café Minamdang”, TVING’s original series “Queen Woo”, and films such as “The Snob”, “Crazy Love” “, ” Yaksha: Ruthless Operations” and “Decoy”, showing his dedication both on TV and on the big screen.
