Held on October 25 at the Grand Auditorium of Ewha Womans University, “FANMEETING SONG JOONG KI 2025 – Stay happy” marked Song’s first fan meeting in seven years. The emotional reunion allowed the star to reconnect with the fans who have supported him throughout his career.
Just when the event seemed to be reaching its peak, the crowd erupted when Kim Ji-won made an unexpected appearance on stage. Dressed in a cozy beige knit sweater and light wash jeans, she exuded warmth and casual charm.
Song Joong-ki, visibly amazed, reacted with surprise:
“I was wondering who was talking: What are you doing here?” To which Kim Ji-won jokingly replied, “I’ve been watching you from behind since you got emotional while singing.”
The moment became even more memorable when Song, caught by surprise, accidentally introduced her as “Park Ji-won” before correcting himself, prompting laughter from the audience.
The two stars reminisced about their past collaborations, including with KBS2 Descendants of the sun and tvN Chronicles of Arthdal. Song Jong Ki also made a cameo in Kim Ji-won’s recent drama Queen of tearsfurther highlighting their long-lasting professional relationship.
