On February 12th, a new video titled “Ask Song Ji Hyo about childcare” was uploaded to his official YouTube channel, Song Ji Hyo JIHYO SSONG. In the episode, the 44-year-old actress spent an entire day taking care of a friend’s three children.
After visiting her friend’s house the day before to learn the routine, Song Ji Hyo began her babysitting duties by carefully reviewing a handwritten paper “mother guidelines” posted on the refrigerator. She successfully sent her two older children to daycare before focusing on caring for her youngest child, Kim Ibeun.
While giving formula, Song Ji Hyo confidently shared: “I actually have experience in childcare. I raised my second and third siblings, so I can handle dirty diapers and bath time.”
His words were soon supported by facts. When it came time to change the baby’s diaper, she deftly took him to the sink, cleaned him, and put on a new diaper with ease. Laughing, he added, “I basically raised my younger siblings. Back then we did everything on the floor, but nowadays there are so many useful products for children.”
After a full day of babysitting, Song Ji Hyo admitted that she probably would “slept very well” that night, expressing heartfelt gratitude to mothers everywhere for their hard work in raising children.
Born in 1981, Song Ji Hyo is the eldest of three siblings, with a younger sister and a younger brother. Her heartfelt, down-to-earth moment once again showed a different and relatable side of the beloved actress.
