The unexpected confession will be featured on the December 14 episode of SBS’s Running Man, where viewers will witness the cast’s stunned reactions to Song Ji-hyo’s surprise romance.
During a recent shoot, while riding in the car with the cast, Ji Seok-jin casually asked Song Ji-hyo when her last relationship was. To everyone’s surprise, he confessed that he had been having an affair for eight years, right under their noses during the filming of Running Man. Even more surprising was the fact that none of his castmates realized it at the time.
Ji Seok-jin, who heard the news firsthand, was visibly stunned. He looked stunned and kept mumbling to himself in disbelief, causing laughter.
After dropping the bombshell about her love life, Song Ji-hyo took on a matchmaking role for the show’s youngest member, Ji Ye-eun. He arranged for guests Kang Hoon and Ye-eun to share a car ride alone, setting the stage for a budding romantic moment. Although Kang Hoon seemed shy at first, Ye-eun bravely asked to exchange numbers, starting what fans are now calling a “daring flirtation.”
